About us

Siyabonga is a care village located on a farm (Kleinplasie), 6km out of Vredenburg on the way to Velddrift.  Our mission is "To care for the sick and disabled with unconditional love".

Sister Chrisna du Plessis is the founder and heads the operation. Siyabonga runs various projects, which our community services and employs. The qualified and experienced nursing staff and caregivers are assisted in their care for patients by a medical support team comprising of physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietitian and social worker.

In addition, Siyabonga partners with various government departments and private sector organisations to be able to offer the special care that is needed by all their special-needs patients.
